Tiger prawns (large) – 20 pieces
Garlic (chopped fine) – 3 table spoons
Red chili (de-seed, chopped) – 1 stick
Asam Pedas – ½ bowl
Chinese parsleys – 2 stalks
Seasoning
Sugar – 4 table spoons
Light sauce – 2 table spoons
Lime juice – 2 table spoons
Pepper – Desired
Plain water – ½ bowl
Steps
- Soak Asam Pedas with 1 bowl of hot water in a bowl for 15 minutes to create Asam Juice. Discard Asam Pedas seeds after that;
- Heat work, big fire, add oil, add Garlic and pan-fry Tiger Prawns for 5 minutes;
- Add Asam Juice, all Sauces and Red Chili, turn to medium fire and simmer for another 10 minutes;
- Garnish with Chinese parsleys.
